Oscar Ruiz is a financier and entrepreneur with a business career encompassing three continents. Formerly a business executive, investment banker and corporate lawyer, he has served on the boards of numerous private and public companies in the energy, technology, media, travel and internet industries.
He is a graduate of the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and Harvard Law School and has published works on banking, arbitration and industry law. His philanthropic endeavors include the National Geographic Society for their work on exploration, the RANA Foundation, for its work preventing child abuse, and the Botkin Foundation, which he chaired, for its cultural initiatives. Given no other choice, he will eat chocolate with avocado (and can prove it too).
